Far North Queensland's Greta Stanley marked her return for 2020 last month with her delicious post-punk, indie-rock belter 'Soak Into This'.
Fresh off three nominations at the recent Queensland Music Awards, a sold-out headline tour and support runs with both Emma Louise and Newton Falkner, Greta has plans to release a new album in 2020.A song built on new connections, 'Soak Into This' beckons the listener to let go and immerse themselves into the music. "It's about having fun and the exciting feeling you get when you enter a new relationship, whether it's romantic or a friendship," Greta says.
"I wrote it thinking about all the fun I'd been having in my new relationship, the nights out with friends, festivals... but then the slow and more intense moments [are] where you really feel something growing."
With 'Soak Into This' produced by Tobias Kuhn (Milky Chance, Dean Lewis) and mixed by Matthew Neighbour (Courtney Barnett, Matt Corby), here Greta shares 5 shows to bing watch while in isolation. We agree Greta, 'I Am Not Okay With This' looks amazing.
