5 Seconds Of Summer To Release New Album

5 Seconds Of Summer
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Stay calm 5 Seconds Of Summer fans with news 5SOS will release their fourth studio album titled 'Calm' (and their first for Interscope Records) on 27 March.

"For a band to make it to four albums is no small feat in itself," lead vocalist Luke Hemmings says, "but to be reinventing and constantly pushing our songwriting and to come out with music that we've never been more proud of makes me so happy to be in 5 Seconds Of Summer."

The album will be available in a variety of physical formats as well as a deluxe fan box edition and cassette tape.

"'Calm' speaks on a journey through a young man's life, for better or for worse," Luke adds. "We are all human and all make mistakes, sometimes we hurt the ones we love and inevitably, ourselves in the process.

"'Calm' leaves the band in a much happier, unified and calm state of mind to continue making albums for years to come."

5SOS have a headline tour of the US scheduled for August; keep those fingers crossed Luke, Calum, Ashton and Michael will soon announce Australian shows.
