5 Reasons To Die With Brisbane Band Shorelines

Shorelines play Leave This Town (Brisbane) 30 June, 2018.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Shorelines are a pop-punk band from Brisbane featuring the talents of Harry White, Dylan Thompson, Sean Fisher and Shaman Grayson.

Formed in the wake of the demise of Brisbane bands Rum, Forest, Rum and Call The Shots, Shorelines latest song is titled 'Lies' and tells the story of 'past betrayals, tense emotions, broken friendships and dishonesty'.

Ahead of their performance at Leave This Town pop-punk festival in June, the lads share 5 reasons to die. Morbid? Yes. But there's more than an ounce of truth to this list.

1. Banks

They take your money and then take more of your money after they take your first load of money. Banks suck and they take all your money.

2. Spiders

No explanation needed.

3. Blue cheese

Actually the most disgusting thing in the world and if you eat it, you will most likely want to die. People who like blue cheese aren't real.

4. Washing

It's a proven fact that 99 per cent of humans would rather cease to exist than have to do the washing. Google it.

5. The Knob-To-Bowl Experience

When your member touches the bowl of a public toilet. Chuck me the noose.

Shorelines play Leave This Town pop-punk festival (all ages) at AHEPA Hall (Brisbane) 30 June.
