With the recent release of his debut album 'El Amor', Daniel Alejandro is returning to his hometown Sydney for an intimate concert performance.
The Venezuelan born Latin-Australian singer will conjure a magical evening of romantic ballads, Spanish classics and contemporary pop song. Fusing classical and pop with a spiritual sensitivity, Daniel’s music will be accompanied by a live band, dancers and guest soprano Alya Meyer.
Ahead of the show, Daniel shares 5 inspirations that influence his music.
1. Travel
I love travelling to different parts of the world to see how they experience life, deal with problems, have fun and how they view the world in daily life. It is always super interesting.

2. Bread
I love bread in all its forms: French baguettes, pizza, paninis, rye etc. I am writing this while in a train in France having a warm baguette with butter – OMG! The most delicious thing ever!
3. Music
Music is what feeds my soul, it makes me feel life rather than succumb to daily numbness.
4. Interior design and environments
I love physical environments and how they make me feel. I love to build new environments wherever I am with new designs, be it minimalist or modern industrial or French provincial. It's inspiring for me how furniture, architecture and style impact your well-being and view of the world.
5. Politics
I love European and international politics. I love to know how the world operates and how systems manage to deal with issues.
Daniel Alejandro performs at Bondi Pavilion Theatre (Sydney) 17 October.
