Sydney-based artist Hayden James has returned with his new single 'Better Together' featuring Melbourne producer Running Touch.
'Better Together' follows on from the infectious strains of 'Just Friends', and comes after Hayden's massive sold-out Australian tour and biggest US headline shows to date.
The new single is a preview of what Hayden has in store for listeners on his forthcoming debut album set for release in 2019.
With brand new gear ready to be let out into the world, Hayden is on tour over summer playing some of the country's biggest festivals and ringing in the New Year in Sydney at NYE In The Park.
One of the busiest young artists bustling about the scene right now, Hayden spares some time to speak with scenestr about his five favourite songs from 2018.
1. Parcels - 'Lightenup'
I've seen these guys live a couple of times and they’re incredible musicians. I'm a huge fan of their debut album and in particular this single.2. RÜFÜS DU SOL - 'Underwater'
An incredible fourth album ('Solace') from really some good friends of mine. 'Underwater' is very emotive and sonically amazing.3. Cassian - 'Lafayette'
Cassian sent this to me a couple of months before its release; it went straight into my DJ set and remains there – it's an absolute BANGER!4. King Henry - 'What About Me'
I immediately clicked with this song, I love the simplicity in Henry's production techniques – a fantastic track.5. Wafia - 'I’m Good'
Such a big year for Wafia; loved the Louis the Child collaboration, but this original takes the cake.Hayden James Tour Dates 2018
