Last week Adelaide soul, hip hop singer-songwriter Adrian Eagle won Best New Artist at the 2018 SAM Awards.
Here he shares his love of basketball listing his favourite players of all time.
1. Michael Jordan
I grew up with Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson being gods on my wall and in our house. He epitomised strength, grace and overall greatness.2. Shaquille O’Neal
Shaq attack! As a big boy, I always loved Shaq and how he dominated the game. He always had a big smile and big personality, though I’m still a fan and loved seeing him win championships.3. Kobe Bryant
Always such a great and smooth player to watch. He was a champion with and without Shaq – a pleasure to watch his career in my lifetime.4. Steph Curry
It’s always fun watching Steph Curry. So skilled. He’s changed the style of the game and is a force to be reckoned with. So dope to watch his growth and flourish into the best fire shooter I’ve everseen.
5. Patty Mills/ Joe Ingles
This last pick is a tie because I have equal amount of respect for both of these players. So amazing to see how far they’ve come, and they have been in the league for so long and proven themselves as key players.
