Ahead of her appearance at Spring Sounds At Sunset (three days of jazz, blues, folk and world music) in Brisbane next month, Kayleigh shares a few classic films she's watched for the first time during COVID.
1: 'Jurassic Park'
Wow. Released in '93 and still genuinely thrilling. The score is an absolute stand-out and I was really impressed by the talent of the child actors.2: 'Fight Club'
I had somehow avoided the wild plot twist, so this movie viewing was awesomely authentic for me. I guess people seriously don't talk about Fight Club.3: 'Star Wars'
I grew up playing 'Star Wars Battlefront' on PS2 with my brother, but had absolutely no idea who/ what/ why/ how/ etc. I'm seven movies into the epic saga and loving it.4: 'Rocky'
An underdog classic. Worth it to hear the famous 'Rocky' anthem! There are how many more movies?!5: 'The Truman Show'
Funny and sweet, I loved this thought-provoking classic. Might be my favourite Jim Carrey movie. "Good afternoon, good evening and goodnight."Spring Sounds At Sunset at Brisbane Powerhouse takes place 12-14 November.
