5 Chicken Soup For The Soul Spots According To Mason Hope

Mason Hope's new EP is titled 'Running Falling Floating'.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Sunshine Coast singer-songwriter Mason Hope is a pretty chill guy with a lot of talent.

In 2016 he took home the trophy for the Gympie Music Muster national talent search, the following year celebrating as the Trans Tasman Entertainer Of The Year.

With performances at events such as Caloundra Music Festival and Tamworth Country Music Festival under his belt, as well as the recent release of a new EP, Mason is naturally always looking for time to relax.

Here, he lists five 'chicken soup for the soul' spots you can catch him in, when he's not performing and showcasing his talents.

1: Chills at Mooloolaba Beach. Soft sand, kebabs, coffee, and loos with views.

2: Walking through Mount Tamborine rainforest and breathing it all in.

3: Sitting on the grass at Alex Headland watching the waves and smelling the salty air.

4: Loud music venues where you can lose yourself in the beats.

5: Being with our dogs. We love them. So good for the soul.

Mason's new EP 'Running Falling Floating' is out now. He plays Sands Tavern (Sunshine Coast) 2 November (5-8pm), The Junk Bar’s Skukum Lounge (Brisbane) with Cassi Marie 17 November (3pm). Mason also supports The Black Sorrows at Kings Beach Tavern (Sunshine Coast) 23 November.
