Before they make a Tarago their home for the next fortnight, Simon has shared five bands you really should add to your Cloud.

This band (and its members) can make me happy whenever I'm down. They're the brothers McMillan who used to play in Gold Coast band Woe And Flutter. Dave the singer is one of my favourite drummers and he is also the closest Australia has to ‘The Dude’ from ‘The Big Lebowski’.Slowpoke Rodriguez
This is cheating, because I play guitar in this band, but I want to mention it because I don't know any other bands like it, and if I get it some press, maybe I'll get to keep my spot. It's the music of bass player Pat Harris, and it's an eclectic mix of all sorts of stuff that might make you sleep and dance at the same time.Gentlemen
These guys are Australian (mostly) but they live in London. They're a great psych band, loads of fun to hang out with, and their keyboard player Ed happens to be a beautiful filmmaker. Here's one of their clips. I don't know where they found the old guy, but he rules, and the tall brooding young dude is Samir who plays drums in London band Charlie Boyer And The Voyeurs.Derub The Ambassador
Derub is an Ethiopian soul singer who now lives in Sydney. His live shows are really special, and his voice is like nothing I've ever heard. I was actually in the studio while he was demoing a couple of his new songs and it was an experience I'll never forget.Spookyland
You might have heard of this guy since the release of his single ‘The Silly Fucking Thing’ a couple of months ago. His EP ‘Rock And Roll Weakling’ is out now. I love his voice, his band, and his songs. The Tambourine Girls Tour Dates
