The ninth edition of the 4Elements Hip Hip Festival & Conference (4ESydney) will hit Blacktown (Sydney) this November.
Set to celebrate 50 years of hip hop, the event stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of hip hop culture, bringing together national artists, industry professionals and enthusiasts in a celebration of artistic expression and empowerment.
This year, 4ESydney will pay tribute to five generations of artists and industry pioneers, who have moulded the landscape of the culture and community many cherish today. The festival, and conference, will serve as a canvas to explore the influence of hip hop on youth, activism, social justice, mental health, and contemporary life.
The event will celebrate hip hip’s storied legacy, and the genre’s contemporary vitality. Everything will culminate in a free community music festival in Blacktown’s Warrick Lane Precinct And Main Street. The 4ESydney Festival promises an electrifying experience and a showcase of music, art, dance and cultural expressions.
Part of 4ESydney is the 4Elements Education Program, tailored to meet the needs of aspiring young artists. It’ll kick off with weekly hip hop drop-in and recording studio sessions at The Granville Centre. Led by music mentors like BARKAA, DOBBY, Nooky, MC Trey, Mirrah, and Clarissa Mei, participants will have the opportunity to refine their lyric writing, performance, music production skills, and gain business knowledge from industry experts.
4Elements Hip Hop Festival is on at Blacktown (Sydney) from 23-25 November.
