BIGSOUND has added another 40 artists to the Live line-up for the two-night festival of new music in Brisbane in September.
The new line-up announcement welcomes the church, Seekae, Voyager , Nicholas Albrook, Funkoars, Pierce Brothers, Hayden James, Art of Sleeping and Canada’s July Talk to the fold.
They add to an already breathtaking list that includes the likes of Gold Fields, DMA’s, Holy Holy, BAD//DREEMS, Client Liaison, KINGSWOOD and REMI. BIGSOUND Live complements the three-day BIGSOUND conference program (September 10-12), which features speakers Neil Finn, the church, and Bluesfest’s Peter Noble, among many more just announced.
The 2014 BIGSOUND Live program expands its footprint to include a grand total of 14 venues, including The Zoo, The Brightside and its outdoor stage, The Rev, Ric’s, Alhambra, Coniston Lane, Oh Hello, Black Bear Lodge and Press Club. The program also undertakes an exciting expansion north of Fortitude Valley’s Brunswick St Mall, to take in venues The Elephant, Crow Bar, The New Globe Theatre, and The Underdog.
