With the likes of Bonnie Tyler, Slim Jim Phantom Trio, Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, Claude Hay and Blues Arcadia already on the bill, this year's Blues On Broadbeach (18-21 May) is shaping up to be the best yet with the an addition of 35 Australian and international acts to the line-up.
Homegrown blues artist Jimi Hocking's Blues Machine (ex Screaming Jets guitarist) headlines the fresh faces that also include Harts (who Prince once flew to his Minneapolis studio), locally based US musician Louis Shelton Bluesland (he has worked with Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, John Lennon) and multiple award-winning Darren Jack Band.
