A quickly rising talent, American artist and producer 2hollis has extended his Australian visit this summer.
Already slated to perform at Laneway Festival, the hyperpop, alternative rap musician will headline gigs in Sydney and Melbourne next February. An experimental artist helping to redefine modern pop and electroclash, and a protege of Skrillex, 2hollis first announced himself with his 2022 album 'White Tiger' (featuring 'Safety' and 'I Always Questioned It').
A purveyor of a strobe-heavy, clipped and blown out sonic landscape, 2024 has seen 2hollis tour with Ken Carson on his The Chaos tour, alongside releasing a string of singles 'Light', 'Crush', 'Trauma' and 'Gold' (the latter he elf-directed the music video).
He also dropped his third studio album 'Boy' in June; it features 'Crush' and 'Light' as well as 'Lie', 'Two Bad', 'Sister' and 'Say It Again'.
2hollis aka Hollis Frazier-Herndon is the son of musician John Herndon, also known as A Grape Dope who is in post-rock band Tortoise, and Owsla co-founder and Skrillex manager, Kathryn Frazier. 2hollis says he is “connected to the light”. Come see for yourself.
Tickets on sale from 11am AEDT on 18 December.
