A staple of Australia's festival calendar, Earth Frequency Festival (EFF) will proceed in 2021 (with the appropriate COVID-19 restrictions in place) with a line-up that celebrates the event's 15-year history.
Set to take place 12-15 February (at Ivory's Rock in SE QLD), and given the current restrictions imposed on international travellers, EFF organisers have brought together an all-star line-up of Australasian talent."The unusual experience of 2020 has given us a unique opportunity to pause, reflect on the past 15 years of the festival, dig deep, and collaborate with some of our favourite Australian labels and collectives to put this line-up together," EFF says.
"Our 2021 line-up is a celebration of the diversity and high calibre of Australian music, as well as an acknowledgement of the musical journey we have been on since beginning the festival in 2006 and all the friends we've made along the way."
2021 headliners include Opiuo, Dub FX, Spoonbill and Twisted Sibling as well as veteran bands OKA and Tijuana Cartel.
Other line-up highlights are Sensient, K+Lab, Mood Swing & Chevy Bass Band, Chamberlain, JPS and Dysphemic.
"This year we have decided to partner with a selection of Australian labels and music collectives which represent the musical spectrum of Earth Frequency Festival, giving them the space to individually curate sessions of music, tell their stories and share their creative visions."
