If you've been fangin' for festival hangs with the fam, then you may want to look into a road-trip, 'cause the kids in Wollongong are in for a real treat with Yours & Owls Festival unveiling a bonkers, top-shelf 2021 line-up.
Come 23-24 January, Stuart Park in Wollongong will be home to the coolest collection of Australasian musical talent that's fronted by APRA Awards 2020 Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year winner, Tones And I.She'll be joined by NZ's BENEE, a winner of four gongs at last year's New Zealand Music Awards. Then there's maestros of the mix-n-match, electronic brothers Cosmo's Midnight, Sydney's DMA'S who've just released a new album, 'The Glow', and local global superstar Hayden James.
The treats don't end there, with Hockey Dad, Lime Cordiale, PNAU, Running Touch, What So Not, Winston Surfshirt, The Smith Street Band and Slowly Slowly just the tip of a monster line-up. Told you it was bonkers, top-shelf.
So picture the sand between your toes, salt-soaked air, cool, ocean waves lapping on the shore, ice-cold bevs and long, balmy nights with some of your fave souls in the world. Intoxicating, isn't it?
