The Drop Festival returns in 2020 for its third season, which is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
After two hugely successful tours, The Drop Festival in 2020 is adding a new location to the Australian tour and plans to take the event to music and beach culture fans around the globe.
After making its way around the country hitting up some of the world’s best surf breaks to sell-out crowds, The Drop Festival will once again follow the World Surf League Championship Tour and Qualifying Series events and in 2020, for the first time, will add an additional stop at the Noosa Longboard Open.
Along with expanding the national tour, The Drop Festival is going global in 2020 with plans for events at locations along the WSL circuit.
“We’re very proud to announce that in 2020 The Drop Festival will follow the WSL to a variety of international locations to showcase the rest of the world how we Australians party down under. with The Drop Festivals scheduled to take place at sensational locations in New Zealand, Japan, Hawaii, Portugal, France and Brazil with more to be announced," The Drop Festival founders say.
“The Drop Festival will now live under the parent brand The Drop Live, and with a complete rebrand we are preparing to launch our global website and app early in 2020."
Stay tuned for line-up announcements, with previous editions having featured acts such as Angus and Julia Stone, Client Liaison, Hockey Dad and more.
