The world has gone crazy in 2020, but making things just a little more normal is the slow return of live music (where restrictions allow).
Queenslanders have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the music festival landscape once again, with boutique three-day event Mitchell Creek Rock 'N' Blues Fest taking place across three days (18-20 September).Staged in the beautiful surrounds of Noosa Hinterland's Mary Valley on a private, 100-acre property, festival goers will experience free camping and two alternating stages offering non-stop music.
2020 headliners are blues-roots husband-wife duo Hat Fitz & Cara, Gold Coast blues stalwarts The Mason Rack Band and globe-trotting blues-roots group Hussy Hicks (who are fresh off releasing their new studio album, 'Gather Up The People').
Other line-up highlights include The Kevin Borich Express, Billie Page, The Hipshooters, Blues Arcadia and The Honey Sliders.
With a COVID-safe plan in place, event organisers have added a number of new initiatives this year.
"To make MCRBF 2020 a happy and happening thing we have a list of new features on site to help you make the most of the music festival, the front of stage area, the VIP Marquees and the general admission areas. It's going to be a blast and we can't wait to bring it to you."
