2020 BASSINTHEGRASS Line-up

Update - 18 March, 2020: BASSINTHEGRASS has rescheduled their 2020 festival to 31 October.

Forget about snakes in the grass because it's BASSINTHEGRASS that deserves your full attention as the Darwin festival unveils its 2020 line-up.

This year's robust harvest of performers features the likes of Missy Higgins, Thelma Plum, Peking Duk, Safia, Illy and many more as it heads into its 18th year.

“It’s always a treat to be a part of BASSINTHEGRASS," Safia lead singer Ben Woolner says.

"There’s a genuine appreciation for the music shown by both the audience and organisers. To have the opportunity to play an event of this calibre in a beautiful city like Darwin is a no-brainer for us."


BASSINTHEGRASS boasts a plethora of renowned artists such as Chillinit, Hayden James, Jack River, New Zealand's JessB, The Jungle Giants, Boy & Bear, Boo Seeka, Odette and Winston Surfshirt, with still more to be announced.

This is the second time the festival will be held on Darwin’s Mindil Beach, where festival goers will be treated to the best of the Territory’s endless summer with tropical, balmy weather and vibrant sunsets.
