Located in the gorgeous surrounds of Grampians National Park (in Victoria), the Grampians Music Festival (GMF) returns in 2019 for its third instalment with poet, singer-songwriter and rapper Sampa The Great and last year's Josh Pyke Partnership winner Angie McMahon headlining.
Joining Sampa and Angie as co-headliners will be Melbourne synth and soul-laden duo Slum Sociable and electronic R&B artist Wafia, offering festival goers a weekend (15-17 February) of some of the best home-grown talent in an awe-inspiring visual oasis.
With a positive emphasis on environmental suitability as well as fostering a safe space for musicians and patrons to interact, GMF have made their own commitment by offering water refill stations (bring your own bottle or purchase a refill bottle on-site), a no straw policy, composting toilets, and all vendors will use biodegradable or recyclable packaging, cutlery only.
In 2019, GMF will also welcome the likes of Alice Skye, Batts, Benny Walker, Body Type, Bones and Jones, Cool Out Sun, Hobsons Bay Coast Guard, Huntly, Jade Imagine, Kat Edwards, Milan Ring, MzRizk, Planet, Rat!Hammock, Sagamore, Seaside, Sweat Dreams DJs and White Bleaches.
GMF will also offer a Victorian regional DJ and producer the opportunity to perform at the festival via the GMF X The Push - Regional Electronic Producer and DJ competition.
The winning producer will perform a one-hour set on the opening night, while the winning DJ will perform in between other acts on the Saturday as well as have their own hour-long set on the Sunday.
