Now in its ninth year, Hunter Valley boutique festival Wollombi Music Festival returns in 2018 (21-22 September) to a new location at Cranky Rock and will be headlined by Sex On Toast on the Friday and Tijuana Cartel on the Saturday.
With an eclectic mix of blues, rock, reggae, funk, soul and roots across the weekend, the Friday offering will be a 'limited ticket offer' with Sex On Toast joined by Black Rabbit George, The Big Ilch and Molly Millington.
Then on Saturday, the event will feature two stages as Kallidad, Marshall Okell, Z-Star Trinity, Thando, Owen Campbell and others join Tijuana Cartel.
The festival also offers free camping, the designated 'Mini Wollombi' Kidfest area, the Hunter Valley's biggest drum circle courtesy of The Rhythm Hut, burlesque under the Big Top and the funk and groove Silent Disco.
'Wollombi 2018 is stepping up its green credentials with no single-use plastic bottles allowed on site, all food served in recyclable or compostable materials including utensils and no plastic bags for market stall purchases. All food scraps will be composted and the festival has a strong 'leave no trace policy' being surrounded by native bushland and fauna.'
