This November, the streets, halls, pubs and clubs of Mullumbimby (in the Northern Rivers region of NSW) will once again be alive with the magic of the eleventh annual Mullum Music Festival (15-18 November), who recently dropped its second artist announcement.
The line-up already features names such as Gordi, Bombino and Mad Professor. Joining the festival is England's Ben Ottewell (of UK rock act Gomez).
Mike Love is also set to play, bringing his socially-conscious roots-rock reggae to the streets of Mullumbimby all the way from the Hawaiian isle of O'ahu. Not to be confused with the Beach Boy co-founder of the same name, Mike started playing guitar at the age of 15 and delivers an almost-spiritual live show.
Also added to the line-up is pop sweetheart Gabriella Cohen, who has recently released her second album, 'Full Closure', to international acclaim.
From the Top End comes hip hop fresh face Caiti Baker, bringing her unique blend of blues and neo soul all the way from Darwin.
William Crighton has also joined the line-up, returning to the festival once more to share his powerful analogues of lived experience in what will be a very profound performance.
Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Lior will also return to Mullum for the music festival, as will fellow Melbourne-based R&B groover Thando.
The line-up doesn't stop there, with Sydney-based quintet Tangent, self-described 'multi-dimensional freaks' Ladyslug and funky fem-hop outfit The Mamas all bringing their beats to the town.
Eco-feminist music project Naga Buah will also be making an appearance, as will the New Orleans inspired five-piece big band The Low Down Riders.
The 2018 Mullum Music Festival takes place 15-18 November. Tickets are on sale now. Click here for more information.
