For its seventh year running the Blenheim Music & Camping Festival (BlenheimFest) is back with Pierce Brothers, The Beards and Kylie Auldist headlining the 2016 bill.
Located in the Clare Valley, South Australia, the locally supported, volunteer-run event attracted 1,700 punters last year, raising $20,000 for charity including New Hope Cambodia. “The rate that BlenheimFest is growing in its reputation is so warming to see,” festival spokesperson Tim Ennis says.
Joining the 2016 music headliners will be Canadian act Jessica Stuart Few, recent SA Music nominees (Best Group) Flamingo, 19-year-old Jesse Davidson and local sweetheart Louise Adams.
BlenheimFest has a strong focus supporting the Clare Valley by exclusively offering local wine, beer and cider at its two bars, The Green Goat and Hilltop Bar. The bars are stocked with generously donated products and staffed by volunteers, meaning every dollar goes to charity.
BlenheimFest also supports the use of local and sustainable food and produce at the festival. The Trumpet Lane Marketplace will also be back again, with South Australian venders coming to peddle their wares.
