It’s time to play the final games.

The final instalment of the ‘Squid Game’ trilogy series is coming. . . And a newly-released teaser offers a first glimpse at the dramatic culmination of Netflix’s most popular show to date.

Season two of ‘Squid Game’ broke the record for most views for a show in its premiere week, and entered the Most Popular Non-English TV list in just three days. It’s currently ranked at #2. . . Just behind season one at #1.

Picking up from the devastating season two cliffhanger, season three thrusts Gi-hun (Player 456) back into the brutal heart of the games, determined to dismantle them once and for all. Still haunted by the betrayal and loss of his closest ally, Jung-bae (Player 390), Gi-hun faces new perils — including the Front Man, who shockingly infiltrated their rebellion disguised as Player 001.

The new teaser trailer gives fans a sneak peek of what to expect when ‘Squid Game’ returns. Gi-hun will be forced to make some important choices, in the face of overwhelming despair, as he and the surviving players are thrust into deadlier games which test everyone’s resolve.

‘Squid Game’ season three hits Netflix on 27 June.
