Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced an exciting opportunity for one lucky film buff.
The announcement comes shortly after multitudes of fans packed into a street in Brisbane city to catch a glimpse of Chris Hemsworth and co filming 'Thor: Ragnarok'.
"Being part of a Marvel Studios production is a unique opportunity," the Premier says. "I am proud my Government was able to secure the filming of this blockbuster for our state."
A competition will be held in which a lucky 'Thor' fan will get a walk-on-role in 'Thor: Ragnarok' as well as backstage access and a Gold Coast holiday with three friends. It's part of a promotion between Tourism and Events Queensland and 'The Today Show'.
Transfers to and from Village Roadshow Studios will also be included, and five nights accommodation (apartment style) means the winner and their friends can kick back after some time on the set of a blockbuster movie. Doesn't sound too shabby, eh?
Entries close this Friday 2 September. It's open to anyone in Australia 16 years or older, and the winner will be announced on 9 September.
Good luck! If you're unsuccessful, don't be a 'Thor' loser.
