The fourth season of 'Game Of Thrones' finally has a release date.
The insanely popular HBO show will return to US screens on Sunday April 6, and presumably be fast tracked (or, you know, torrented) to Australia that same day.
A sneak peek at the new season — which will be missing one or two cast members from prior seasons, on account of that whole 'Red Wedding' clusterfuck — will air this Sunday before the launch of HBO's new mystery thriller, 'True Detective'. Expect it to end up online and in all your news feeds immediately afterwards.
This season of the show will be dedicated to finishing off its adaptation of 'A Storm Of Swords', the third book in George RR Martin's planned seven-book 'A Song Of Ice And Fire' series.
