As the release date for the next instalment of the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise draws closer (30 July for those playing at home), comes this behind-the-scenes video teaser featuring Tom Cruise in THAT plane scene.
While most Hollywood superstars go with the standard body/ stunt double for any scene that suggests even a remote chance of injury, Tom Cruise seems to revel in placing himself in situations that could prove fatal.
So it was with 'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation'; if you've seen the trailer (click here if not) you've seen Tom aka Ethan Hunt hanging onto the outside of a plane as it takes off and rapidly gains attitude.
That's the real Tom Cruise, hanging on for dear life… literally. "I couldn't sleep the night before. Then came day and I realised this was really happening … If something goes wrong, I can't get into the airplane."
