Film-lovers can look forward to a sizzling summer programme when Westpac OpenAir presents its sizzling summer programme this coming January-February.

The 41-night festival of film and food will transform Sydney Harbour once more, opening with the enthralling ‘A Complete Unknown’ starring Timothee Chalamet as a young Bob Dylan alongside Elle Fanning, Edward Norton, and Monica Barbara.

Nicole Kidman’s erotic thriller ‘Babygirl’ will also screen first for Australians at Westpac OpenAir. From Director Halina Reijn, ‘Babygirl’ is raw, unflinching exploration of intimacy, power and control.

Enjoying their Australian premieres are Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Queer’ starring Daniel Craig as an American expatriate living an isolated life in Mexico City, when he meets a vibrant young student; and Alexandre Dumas’ epic ‘The Count Of Monte Cristo’.

Elsewhere in the programme are ‘We Live In Time’ starring Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield; Academy Award-winner Angelina Jolie’s turn as Maria Callas in ‘Maria’; and the hotly-anticipated ‘September 5’, set against the backdrop of the 1972 Munich Olympics, where a hostage crisis shocked the world.

The next chapter of Bridget Jones’ story, ‘Mad About The Boy’, will screen. . . As will the original ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’ as a warm-up.
