The official trailer for the HBO Max original drama series, ‘IT: Welcome To Derry’, is here.
Developed by filmmakers Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti (‘IT’, ‘IT Chapter Two’) and Jason Fuchs (‘IT Chapter Two’), the series will feature eight episodes, debuting weekly, from this October.
It’s set in the world of Stephen King’s ‘IT’ universe, based on the original novel and expanding on the vision established by Muschietti in the films ‘IT’ and ‘IT Chapter Two’. ‘IT: Welcome To Derry’ stars Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Bill Skarsgård.
The series will serve as a prequel to the films ‘IT’ and ‘IT Chapter Two’. In 1962, a couple with their son move to Derry, Maine, just as a young boy disappears. With their arrival, bad things begin to happen in the town.
‘IT: Welcome To Derry’ debuts 27 October on HBO Max.
