Self-aware humour is The Muppets' stock in trade, so OF COURSE they've released a music video about sequels to promote the sequel to 'The Muppets'.
The exceedingly meta musical number is called 'We're Doing A Sequel' (because, as the lyrics note, "that's what we do in Hollywood").
The song (written by Oscar winner Bret McKenzie) claims that "everybody knows the sequel is never quite as good", but I don't know — 'Muppets Most Wanted' looks like it'll be every bit as good, if not better, than its predecessor.

In a weird bit of synchronicity, I spoke to Brian Henson — son of Muppets creator Jim Henson — about an unrelated project just this morning and he told me 'Muppets Most Wanted' is far superior to 'The Muppets'. But I guess he has to say that, right?
