The full trailer for 'Gotham' — Fox's Batman prequel series — has arrived.
In the two-minute clip, you'll get your first look at the show's take on the murder of Bruce Wayne's parents, as well as solid glimpses of Detective Jim Gordon (played by Ryan Atwood Ben McKenzie), his partner Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), and the young Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Catwoman (Camren Bicondova), Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) and Poison Ivy (an unknown child actor who is, of course, seen taking care of a plant). There's also Jada Pinkett Smith as a new (and presumably short-lived) gangster, Fish Mooney.
Sadly, the young Bruce Wayne is played by child actor David Mazouz, and not a mo-capped Ben Affleck.

The series arc looks to be Gordon's investigation of the Wayne murders ("I promise you," Gordon promises Bruce, "I will find the man who did this"), with plenty of room to be sidetracked by the city's burgeoning cast of crims and crazies along the way.
Earlier today, the show was officially picked up by Fox for "at least" 13 episodes — so even if the fans turn on it after the pilot episode, they're committed to making a solid fist of this thing.
