Grand Budapest Hotel

'The Grand Budapest Hotel' might end up being the Wes Anderson-iest Wes Anderson movie ever.

Over the past decade and a half, the director has somehow pulled off the unique trick of descending into complete self-parody while still making great films that connect with relatively large audiences. Sure, his films are all absurdly mannered and intricately stylised in pretty much exactly the same way — but they're also, you know, really damn good.

These new clips from 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' certainly don't signal any shift in style for the master helmer; if anything, it looks like he's doubling down on what works for him. And we're fine with that.

'The Grand Budapest Hotel' opens March 7, with an absurd cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum (!), Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Owen Wilson, Tom Wilkinson, Saoirse Ronan, Léa Seydoux, and — naturally — Bill Murray.
