'The Bentley Effect'
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The Transitions Film Festival is happening around Australia and features an enthralling selection of cutting-edge documentaries.

These documentaries cover the existential challenges, mega-trends, game-changing technologies and creative visions that are redefining what it means to be human.

The Brisbane festival alone features a stellar line-up of films.

Opening the event is 'River Blue', about the dark side of the fashion industry and solutions to river pollution.

Other festival highlights include 'Power to Change: Energy Rebellion', a beautifully cinematic snapshot of the energy revolution taking place in Germany, 'A Plastic Ocean', which offers solutions to the heart-wrenching problem of ubiquitous plastic pollution and its impacts on the food chain and 'The C Word', which follows the powerful stories of celebrated French neuroscientist and cancer revolutionary Dr.David Servan-Schreiber and the film's director Meghan O'hara on their unconventional battles against cancer, by executive producer Morgan Freeman.

Closing the festival in two special screenings is Australian film 'The Bentley Effect', which was filmed over five years and documents the highs and lows of keeping a unique part of Australia free of gas fields.
