[UPDATE: 21 May, 2021 – Streaming service BINGE will air 'Friends: The Reunion' on 27 May at 5:02pm AEST]
The long-awaited reunion for iconic sitcom ‘Friends’ has an air date.
Originally rumoured to be a scripted episode or perhaps even a small series, but later confirmed as an unscripted one-off special, the ‘Friends’ reunion will celebrate the ten-year long series which was one of the most successful and popular TV shows of the 1990s.
‘Friends’ starred Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, who will all be back for ‘the one where they get back together’, set to air on HBO Max and Australia's BINGE on 27 May. . . But they won’t be the only people reflecting on the massive show.
Joining the cast will be a slew of celebrity guests: David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Larry Hankin, Kit Harington, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.
A teaser, posted to each of the cast member’s Instagram accounts, shows the cast walking arm in arm as the familiar theme song plays. Ahh, the memories.
'Friends: The Reunion’ airs on HBO Max and BINGE (at 5:02pm AEST) on 27 May.
