In another case of pop culture eating its own tail, 'The Truman Show' is going to become a TV show.
Re-launched studio Paramount TV has just announced its production slate, and it includes shows based on 'Ghost', 'Narc' (from original writer-director Joe Carnahan), and a 're-imagination' of 'The Truman Show'.
It's unclear whether this 're-imagination' will simply be a scripted, serialised version of the story we see in the film, or if Paramount TV intends to actually build a giant arcological dome in Los Angeles, populate it with actors and raise an unsuspecting child in it from birth (we're hoping for the latter, obviously).
Either way, it will probably be closer to the source material than HBO's reimagining of 'EDtv'.
