Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Get A Michael Bay Makeover

Because somebody probably demanded it, Michael Bay is bringing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the big screen.

After years of speculation, the first trailer is here for the TMNT reboot. Produced by Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the 'gritty' new take stars Megan Fox — reunited with Bay after he fired her from 'Transformers: Dark of The Moon' for comparing him to Hitler — as April O'Neil, William Fichtner as Shredder, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, and a quartet of unknowns (Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard) as the Turtles.

The trailer looks pretty much exactly the same as Bay's 'Transformers' trailers, which is to say that there are a few action sequences that look great but will probably be incomprehensible in the final cut of the film.

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' is due for release in Australia on September 11.
