The new and long-awaited second season of Netflix Original Series 'Stranger Things' will have its premiere at Sydney Opera House in a free fan event hours before dropping on Netflix globally.
The screening will happen at the same time as the global LA premiere and super fans will be treated to the supernatural world of the Upside Down, as the Opera House's Northern and Southern Foyers completely transform into the world of Hawkins, circa 1984 where the second season begins.
Attendees are also encouraged to get dressed up in their best 'Stranger Things' costumes, enjoy the immersive '80s soundtrack, play old school arcade games and eat themed food.
The Sydney event is expected to be the largest of several premieres happening around the world.
Registration is essential and tickets go on sale to the general public on 13 October at 9am Sydney time.
