WARNING: SPOILERS!
Forget winter, changes are coming. New footage from the set of 'Game Of Thrones' season five has given fans a glimpse at the actors who will be playing new characters in the show. It also reveals Jamie Lannister's storyline.
Released by Spanish publication 'El Correo de Andalucia', Jamie (played by actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) can be seen dressed in a golden Dornish skirt indicating he is visiting Prince Oberyn's home with the deceased Prince's family and loved ones. Along with new set photos shared by CANAL + Espana and Winter Is Coming, the footage raises the question of why Jamie is in Dorne?

Readers of George R.R. Martin's series will know that Jamie goes nowhere near Dorne, but does travel to Harrenhal where he runs into his cousin Lancel Lannister (the blonde who's been sleeping with Cersei). This sparks Jamie to turn against Cersei and burn her letter asking for his return. However, season five doesn't look like it's heading in that direction.
Other deviations from the books include flash back scenes which showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss revealed during a Q&A with film students in Spain. “By making the first season, we set a rule: No prophecies, dreams or flashbacks. We failed the first two and this season the third. So yes, this season will finally have flashbacks.”

Another (quite upsetting) deviation is that Bran Stark and Hodor reportedly won't appear in season five. In a recent interview, Kristian Nairn who plays Hodor said both he and Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran) won't be there for this season. "We have a season off and we have a year's hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books ... So, I get my year off now to do 'Rave of Thrones' and gallivant all over the world."
Along with all the new characters that are being introduced (mostly from the land of Dorne), season five has reportedly recruited Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko from 'Lost') to play a character that doesn't appear in the books, Malko.
'Game Of Thrones' returns in 2015 (autumn for Australia) on HBO.
