Australian fans of the Terminator film franchise can rejoice at the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger will make an appearance in Sydney to promote the release of the 5th instalment of the Terminator franchise: Terminator Genisys.
Schwarzenegger is due to return to Australia for the second time this year to give fans a sneak peak of the latest Terminator film, which hits cinemas on the first of July. Fans will get the chance to get up close with the action superstar when he walks down the red carpet on 4 June at Sydney's Event Cinemas on George Street.
Accompanying Schwarzenegger will be Australian co-star Jai Courtney; the fourth actor to play the role of Kyle Reese in the franchise, first played by Michael Biehn in the original Terminator film.

Terminator has amassed more than one billion dollars at the box office since 1984, with Schwarzenegger's iconic T-800 Model 101 character being one of the most recognisable film characters in history.
Staying true to his famous catch cry, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back again after saying hasta la vista to the film franchise after making the third movie in the series, Terminator: Rise of the Machines.
Schwarzenegger didn't star in the previous Terminator film, Terminator Salvation, yet his recasting in T5 promises a revival of the feel of the original 1984 Terminator film, with Schwarzenegger's essential character once again taking centre stage.
The star of the hit film series made the news earlier this year in March after being pulled over by Victorian Police for failing to wear a helmet whilst riding a shared bicycle in Melbourne's city centre. The requirement to wear a helmet whilst riding one of Melbourne's bike share cycles has been widely criticised and is often cited as the reason for underuse of the bicycle sharing network.
