The 71st Sydney Film Festival will offer 12 days and nights of some of the finest cinema from Australia and the world this June.
There will be film screenings alongside public programme talks and events, set to enhance the festival experience.
“As we usher in the 71st edition of the Sydney Film Festival, we are promising another vibrant showcase of the very best in contemporary cinema from Australia and across the globe; presenting films that captivate, challenge, and inspire audiences here in Sydney,” Festival Director Nashen Moodley says.
“We warmly invite film enthusiasts to join us this June for a celebration of cinema that challenges, entertains, and inspires. We look forward to sharing a diverse and thought-provoking programme, pushing the boundaries of cinematic achievement.”
Both local and international guests will be in attendance at the festival, with audiences once again able to share in all the magic of red carpet, premieres, filmmaker conversations, and more.
The first films for the 71st event will be revealed in April, with a full programme reveal set for May. Mark your calendars!
Sydney Film Festival will take place across Greater Sydney Venues include State Theatre, Event Cinemas George Street, Dendy Cinemas Newtown, Randwick Ritz, Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace Cremorne, Palace Cinemas Central and Norton Street, Art Gallery of NSW, Casula Powerhouse, the Festival Hub at Sydney Town Hall and SFFTV in Martin Place.
Sydney Film Festival 2024 is on from 5-16 June.
