The Revelation Perth International Film Festival is seeking film submissions of any genre, duration, subject matter and nationality, for inclusion in the 2026 programme.
“There's no rest for the wicked in this business and we're opening our international call for entries to prove it!” Revelation Director Richard Sowada says. “We begin watching films from the word ‘go' and we’d love to see your film in the mix. It’s very rewarding for us, and we hope for you.”
The 29th edition of Revelation will take place next July at Luna Cinemas Leederville and Luna on SX Fremantle, with breakout events at The Backlot Perth, and other venues around the city.
Revelation has a strong dedication to championing Australian screen culture and independent filmmaking, with an ethical focus. Since 1997, Rev has been bringing fine, independent cinema from local, national and around the world, to Perth. It spotlights established and emerging talents, and explores uncharted territory in film.
Plus, the Rev team work tirelessly throughout the year on RevStream, an online streaming platform with more than 400 titles, available 24/7.
Entries are open now, closing on 28 February, 2026.
