Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The silver jubilee edition of the annual Revelation Perth International Film Festival has kicked off, running until 17 July. But things continue online after all the in-person fun is over, with a selection of films on offer as part of Revelation’s online platform RevStream.

Feature films and documentaries from this year’s programme will be available to watch from the comfort of your couch, or bed, or living room. . . Wherever you’ve got access to a screen and some internet!

Whether it’s a romp through the NYC art scene or a spotlight on a female filmmaker, the online offering for Revelation spans a range of subject matters.

“Perhaps you are isolating at home with COVID-19, or you are interstate, or you simply didn’t make it to the cinema this year – whatever the reason, we are hoping people will enjoy our online offering just as much as our physical festival this year,” Festival Director Richard Sowada says.

A Pencil To The Jugular

18 1/2
