Australian Revelations
Revelation Film Festival’s Australian Revelations programme brings you 'Animal Kingdom'. Just how many careers did this classic Aussie crime drama invent, reinvigorate and propel? With dozens of international awards under its belt and an Oscar nomination for Jackie Weaver, 'Animal Kingdom' is as tight as a snare drum, invigorating and exciting by anyone’s standards and an absolute must-see Australian classic. Italian Film Festival
The Lavazza Italian Film Festival celebrates 20 years in 2019 and returns to Perth 2-23 October, with 26 films screening at Palace Cinemas' Cinema Paradiso (Northbridge) and Luna Palace Cinemas' Luna on SX (Fremantle). Festival highlights include Ron Howard's highly anticipated biopic 'Pavarotti', and a programme dedicated to Italian history with 'Films On Art: The Italian Masters' including 'Michelangelo - Endless' and 'Amazing Leonardo', comedies 'Bangla', 'Let Me Introduce You To Sofia' and 'Ordinary Happiness' as well as documentaries and dramas celebrating old and new Italian cinema.

Russian Resurrection Film Festival
Bringing Russian cinema to Perth in a series of monthly events, September’s screening at Event Cinemas, Innaloo, is 'Moscow Does Not Believe In Tears', the 1980 winner of Best Foreign Film Oscar. It follows the loves, dreams and careers of three girls who find friendship in Moscow.
Sunday, 29 September at 3.30pm.
The Russian Resurrection Film Festival returns to Perth this October for another sensational showcase of outstanding Russian cinema. Screening at Event Cinemas Innaloo from October 25-30, complete programme and information about attending guests will be announced in the near future. Tickets go on sale late September.

Gone With The Wind
Perth Homeless Support Group are hosting a fundraising screening of 'Gone With The Wind'. Prizes for best dressed as they celebrate the 80th anniversary of this classic film. All proceeds go to helping the homeless in Perth.
Sunday 22 September at 3pm at The Backlot Perth.

Rocky Horror Picture Show
Monkey Collective bring to Luna Cinemas their massively popular 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' Immersive Event on 13 October.

Apocalypse Now: Final Cut
Join film critic Mark Naglazas to discuss Francis Ford Coppola’s visionary Vietnam War epic, the newly-restored 'Apocalypse Now: Final Cut', after its screening at Luna Leederville. Restored from the original negative for the first time ever, 'Apocalypse Now: Final Cut' is Coppola’s most realised version of the film, which was nominated for eight Academy Awards and is one of AFI’s top 100 films.

Metallica And San Francisco Symphony: S&M2
A must-see cinema event from one of the biggest rock bands in history when Metallica unites with The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra for the first time in 20 years to once again stage their landmark concert and live album, 'S&M'. Filmed across two sold-out shows at San Francisco’s Chase Center, this live concert experience is now only available in cinemas.
Wednesday 9 October at 7.30pm at Luna Cinema Leederville.

Girls School Cinema
Travel through time with Doc and Marty in the complete screening of the full 'Back To The Future' trilogy on 21 September. The Girls School Cinema season runs to 12 October every Wednesday to Sunday.
