Revelation Perth International Film Festival looks at the goings-on of the film world in Western Australia for the month of September (and beyond).


Australian Revelations
For one night only, the acclaimed film 'Watch The Sunset', Australia's first one shot feature, will screen as a part of Revelation Film Festival’s Australian Revelations programme. In a single afternoon a man comes to grips with the power of his past, when his estranged family become entangled in its web. Enjoy drinks, cheese, cinema and conversation with Rev!

Rottnest Island Kingdom Of The Quokka
Dubbed the ‘happiest animal on earth’, the quokka is the subject of a unique wildlife film. Narrated by William McInnes, this film will instil wonderment, admiration and respect for our natural environment for audiences both in Australia and across the globe.

Girls School Cinema
Winter has never been cosier because Girls School Cinema is back and Program 4 tickets are now on sale. Highlights include an iconic '80s double feature, a Spielberg double header and a 'Back To The Future' Marathon. Housed in a stunning castle-like building in East Perth, Girls School Cinema features loads of blockbusters plus cosy beanbag seats and a luxe lounge bar.
The Girls School Cinema season runs to 12 October every Wednesday to Sunday.

Fashion Film Festival
The inaugural Raine Square Fashion Film Festival at Palace Cinemas will feature six red carpet events each Thursday night. Enjoy a pre-film cocktail function in the Palace Champagne Lounge and a goodie bag before viewing a celluloid celebration of all things fashion.

Muslim Film Festival
The very first Muslim Film Festival aims to promote inclusion, tolerance, and friendship, and introduce Muslim society, culture, and stories to a wider audience by showcasing independent short films from around the world.

Ride Like A Girl Rev'Ride Like A Girl'

Ride Like A Girl Q&A Screenings
'Ride Like A Girl' is the directorial debut from renowned Australian actor Rachel Griffiths and is the true story of an Australian champion, Michelle Payne; the first woman to win the Melbourne Cup. Join Director Rachel Griffiths and Michelle Payne for a special Q+A session at preview screenings across Perth.

DOTA 2 TI Screening
Catch the biggest e-sports tournament ever held with the grand final of the 'DOTA 2' TI on the big screen. With a prize pool of over $31 million, this is a viewing experience brand new to Perth. Also offering information sessions about e-sports, this event is free but registration is advised.

ZZ Top
The story of how three oddball teenage bluesmen became one of the biggest bands on the planet is told in 'ZZ Top: The Little Ol’ Band From Texas'. Includes candid interviews, never-before-seen archival footage, animations and celebrity fan testimonials.

Monkey Collective Encore!
For the fifth year running, Monkey Collective brings you 'Labyrinth'. This is no ordinary screening... You are IN the film! Your goodie bag will be packed with items and chants to play along with throughout the session and your costume will be judged by the Goblin King himself. With rogue goblins, flying babies, and hot crotches, they promise to be rude, crude, and extremely unapologetic. Strictly 18+.
