Reel Life - Revelation Perth International Film Festival never stops!
RevStream
Oh my. . . The good times keep a rollin’ with our very own streaming service, RevStream, which contains more than 400 individual feature, documentary and short film titles – including more than 100 WA films. For May, it’s our great pleasure to launch a brilliant collection of international independent documentary and feature works. We’re super keen to hear what you think of the German psychedelic sci-fi feature '1000 Kings', the much more understated but excellent sci-fi/horror two hander 'A Knight’s Tour', the nasty US exploitationer 'Bad Girls', the classic Aussie rock discovery '6ft Hick: Notes From The Underground' and the sparkling and always surprising examination of porn icon 'Morgana'. RevStream is unique internationally and we’re so proud to present these and WA titles nationally and to audiences around the world. Take a look at the full catalogue on our website.
Made In WA
This month we’re super happy to include five WA titles on our RevStream service and congratulations to all. For May, we find a home for the excellent short which Revelation executive produced 'Raising Joey' and four music videos – The IT Guy, 'Put Your Hands Up', 'Is This I' and 'Gonna Get Love'. If you’re a local filmmaker, we’d love to include your work in what is the largest library of WA-produced works. All we need is a link, a poster and a short synopsis and we’re off! Send us your stuff!
EOFY is (almost) here!
There’s only a couple of months before the end of the financial year. . . An important time for us all. We also know that it’s the perfect time to think about how you can best make tax time work for you and what better way to donate to Rev! Any donation is fully tax-deductible and on top of that advantage, you’ll get that warm feeling that you’ve supported true independent screen culture that itself puts every cent raised straight back into the local community – film or otherwise – via our year-round non-profit production, distribution and exhibition initiatives. Convinced?
