Australian Revelations
Returning for 2020, Australian Revelations brings you the best Aussie films alongside a WA-made short. Join us for cheese, cinema and chatter at The Backlot on the final Monday of each month. On 30 March catch classic film, 'The Dish'.

Perth Festival Films
It’s time to kick back under the stars and enjoy Perth’s most picturesque outdoor movie location.
If it’s romance, adventure, thriller, inspiring docos, politically-charged drama, feel-good family tales or even a zombie comedy, this year’s Perth Festival Lotterywest Films programme has something for you.
Films include 'If Only', 'Young Ahmed' and 'Master Cheng'.

International Women's Day
'Thelma And Louise' are IN THE HOUSE at Event Innaloo, Event Whitford and Greater Union Morley on Wednesday 11 March at 7pm. In celebration of International Women’s Day, catch the original girl-power heroes, plus a taste of a young Brad Pitt. Special ticket prices apply.

Free Film Friday
Experience free cultural films at the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre in Fremantle. On 13 March, see 'Undermined: Tales From The Kimberley' which investigates the politics of an area branded “the future economic powerhouse of Australia”, and what this means for our First People and their unique cultural landscapes.

PRIDE Queer Film Fest
The fourth annual PRIDE Queer Film Festival returns to the Backlot Perth from 4 March, telling LGBTQIA+ stories from around the world. Showcasing the very best of International Queer Cinema, the festival will screen nine sessions across seven days, including the world premiere of 'Spencer' with producer and star Adam Noviello in attendance. All proceeds go to Pride WA.

Film School
On the second Monday of each month, a diverse array of young people will present an exciting new release and kick off a post-movie discussion with special guests. Presented by Student Edge, Film School gives up-and-coming critics a voice and whether it's high-brow or low-brow, Scorsese or Marvel, documentary or anime, they'll cover it all. March’s film is 'Queen & Slim'.

Jay Silent Bob

Rooftop Movies
From the producers of Fringe World, Rooftop Movies is an open-air cinema experience six levels above the ground in the centre of the city. Features a film programme packed with new releases and cinema classics, and everything in between.

3100 Run And Become
On Thursday 26 March Palace Cinema Paradiso is screening a never-before-told story of endurance and determination. A diminutive paperboy from Finland, and a female cellist from Austria, are participants in the world's longest certified running race – the Self-Transcendence 3100 Miler – the most elusive, elite multi-day race in the world. Includes a post screening Q+A with director Sanjay Rawal and 3100 runner Grahak Cunningham.

Telethon Community Cinemas
With all proceeds returned to charity – over $9 million to date – Telethon Community Cinemas screen blockbuster films, classics and all your favourites. Four venues across Perth at Bassendean, Burswood, Murdoch and now ECU Joondalup Pines.

Monkey Collective Immersive Screening
The uber popular Monkey Collective Immersive Screenings return to Luna Leederville on Sunday 15 March, this time with 'The Fifth Element'. Pre-screening entertainment commences from 8pm. Your goodie bag comes packed with items and chants to play along with throughout the film. Dress up as your favourite character to win great prizes. Strictly 18+ – they will be rude, crude and extremely unapologetic!

French Film Festival
The 2020 Alliance Française French Film Festival will screen at Palace Cinemas (Cinema Paradiso) and Luna Palace Cinemas (Windsor Cinema and Luna on SX) from 11 March until 8 April.
The festival opens with the uplifting 'The Extraordinary' and highlights include Oscar-nominated 'Les Misérables', 'Invisables', 'How To Be A Good Wife' and a restored version of 'Donkey Skin', to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Jay & Silent Bob
The Backlot Perth are hosting special event screenings of 'Jay & Silent Bob Reboot' on 19 and 21 March. Jay & Silent Bob have discovered that a reboot of the 'Bluntman & Chronic' movie is being made, so they head off to ChronicCon in Hollywood to stop it. This movie takes on remakes, reboots and sequels, while simultaneously being all three! Filled to the brim with cameo appearances from myriad past characters in the View Askewniverse, as well as some new, but very familiar, faces.
