Flesh For Frankenstein - Legendary filmmaker Paul Morrissey’s work is considered a masterpiece of midnight movie/cult cinema and is everything audiences could wish for. Originally released in both regular and 3D versions, our screening is in glorious 3D!
Edward And Isabella - Already nominated for a Miles Franklin Award for his novel 'Bird', 'Edward And Isabella' is Morris’s first feature film and has already won numerous awards, including Best Film at the WA Screen Culture Awards, Best Feature Film at the Prague International Film Festival and Best Director at the Tokyo Film Awards.
Decibel: 2 Minutes From Home – commissioned during COVID lockdowns, these two-minute music compositions will be performed live with accompanying screen content. Be prepared for a wide range of musical styles, performance approaches, and snippets of interviews from the artists between tracks.

Cinema happenings in Perth
- Book to Film Program continues on Sunday June 12 at The Backlot with 'The Third Man' (UK 1949). Directed by Carol Reed from a screenplay by Graham Greene, based on his own novella, the film has been named by the BFI as the greatest British film of all time and will be screened in a 4K restored version. - Transition Town Vincent’s movie nights are back and on Monday 13 June, catch 'The Biggest Little Farm'. Chronicling the eight-year quest of a couple who trade city living for barren farmland and a dream. A lovely soul-feeding film, this is just what you need. Tickets from Humanitix.
- The Vault brings 'All The President’s Men' to The Backlot on Sunday 26 June. Take a trip back in time to the 1972 US elections and the controversial scandal that brought down President Richard Nixon. Tickets from Eventbrite.
- Achtung! The German Film Festival which returns to Perth 2-22 June showcasing the best contemporary German cinema direct from major festivals in Europe, plus a selection from its German-speaking neighbours - Austria and Switzerland.
