In Focus: Wes Anderson
Each month, Palace Cinemas dedicates a season to some of the world’s best and most acclaimed directors and in January, they present 'In Focus: Wes Anderson'.
Every Thursday night is dedicated to a weekly serve of Anderson’s distinctive visual stylings, compelling soundtracks and all-star casts.
Kicking off with 'Bottle Rocket', you can catch all the gems including 'Rushmore', 'The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' all at Cinema Paradiso.

Rooftop Movies
From the producers of Fringe World, Rooftop Movies is an open-air cinema experience six levels above the ground in the centre of the city. Features a film programme packed with new releases and cinema classics, and everything in between.

Stan At The Backlot
Following on from their new partnership with Netflix, The Backlot Perth have also hooked up with streaming platform Stan and are bringing 'The True History Of The Kelly Gang' to the big screen.
Inspired by Peter Carey’s Man Booker prize-winning novel of the same name, Justin Kurzel’s film shatters the mythology of the notorious icon to reveal the essence behind the life of Ned Kelly and force a country to stare back into the ashes of its brutal past.

Freo Doc Fest
Visit the Fibonacci Centre to catch the Freo Doc Fest. Five docos made in Freo, about Freo, for Freo, by Freo people! There'll be live music, beats to finish and dinner and drinks for sale in between.

Galaxy Drive-In
There’s nothing like the good ol’ drive-in and there is still one kicking along in Perth’s northern suburbs. In January they’re showing family friendly films 'Spies In Disguise' and 'The Lion King' and on Tuesdays, it’s only $20 per car.

The Peanut Butter Falcon
Palace Cinemas, on behalf of Down Syndrome Australia (DSA), are proud to present a special advance screening of the heart-warming tale 'The Peanut Butter Falcon'.
