Thanks to everybody who came to Rev this year, we had a great year, and people seemed to love the programme. Many thanks also to everybody involved in making the festival happen – the filmmakers, the distributors, our interns and volunteers, venues, and sponsors, and especially our families and friends, just for being there!
WA Screen Culture Awards
Embracing all screen forms from new, established and emerging screen practitioners and established in 2020 by the producers of the Revelation Perth International Film Festival, the WA Screen Culture Awards celebrate the achievement, innovation and ambition of our local industry. Submissions are now open via Film Freeway and we invite all WA practitioners to submit their works with categories from feature film to gaming to online content. The 2024 WASCAs will be held on Sunday 1 December at Luna Palace Cinemas Leederville, tickets are now on sale via the Luna website.

Don't miss this local WA made indie film which held its World Premiere at Revelation Film Festival in July. . . Small town Australia, the last day of school. Year 11 students, the idealist Sunny and abrasive PJ, witness several other kids suddenly vanish into thin air at a bus stop. No noise, no sudden explosion, just an empty space where they used to be. Perth Horror Film Fest
The Perth Horror Film Festival is back for their third edition with a series of horror and sci-fi sessions focusing on local filmmakers. This year's edition will also host an art display by Stygian Industries and artist Austen Mengler will be on hand to create live works and have prints for sale from Friday to Sunday. The Revival House team are dedicated to bringing the Como Theatre back to its roots by screening films on 16mm and 35mm Film, offering audiences a truly authentic and immersive movie-watching experience.
