RevStream is a unique on-demand platform that includes more than 400 individual international feature films, feature documentaries and shorts for your viewing pleasure. Drawn largely form our programme over the last five years and with plenty of other stuff, RevStream is about the best catalogue of international independent cinema you’ll find anywhere. For April we’re amped to release the sparkling Australian outback feature 'Strange Colours', the glorious handmade magical realism of 'Precarious', hard-hitting documentary from Ireland with 'Keepers Of The Flame', the WA made corkers 'Maybe It’s Luck', 'Toxic Obsession' and 'Parkerville' and the beautiful documentary looking at electronic music, 'The Sound Is Innocent'. - Prince’s 'Purple Rain' was a landmark film in 1984 and has become a cult classic. Don’t miss your chance to go crazy in purple with a Luna Outdoor screening in Friday 8 April. In conjunction with Blackwood River Arts Trail 2022 and Nannup Community Cinema, Revelation is uber excited to announce the showing of a collection of short films produced and directed by Australian filmmakers.The films screening at the inaugural Blackwood River Film Festival include 'Be You T Fool', 'Deb', 'I’m So Depressed', 'Lost Contact', 'Painting By Numbers', 'Sparkles', 'These Walls', 'Two Sands', 'WHILE(ALIVE){}', and 'Woven Threads: Jett!' Taking place on 9-10 April in our beautiful south west – tickets and further info via their website.
- An encore screening of 'The Beloved' is happening at Luna on SX on Sunday 10 April. Commune or cult? This epic documentary illuminates the Rajneesh sannyasin movement in 1980s Fremantle, as told by those who lived through it. Introduced by director Joseph London, tickets from Luna website.
- On Sunday 10 April at 2pm, 'Book To Film' doubles down on '70s shockers with 'Don't Look Now', the haunting and unforgettable 1973 Venice-set tale of grief, solace and seeing, which stars never-better Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. Daphne du Maurier wrote the brittle and lithe short story on which this is based. Tom Vincent and Terri ann White will host, discuss and shiver along with you and 'Don't Look Now' will be screening in a magnificent FULLY RESTORED 4K Version!

- On Friday 29 April at Luna Leederville, the Black Maria Collective are partnering with VHS Tracking to present another Trash Classic with 'Polyester'. This is a special birthday month tribute to John Waters with a little melodrama from Divine.
- Tickets are now sale for the gala screening of 'How To Please A Woman' complete with filmmakers Q&A on Thursday 5 May. This WA made film finally hits the cinema circuit and tells the story of Gina who's turning fifty and not feeling fabulous. Head to the Luna website for more details.
- The Moro Spanish Film Festival evokes reel inspiración with outstanding films from across Spain and Latin America. Returning to Perth from 27 April-18 May at Luna Leederville, Luna on SX and Palace Cinemas Raine Square, the festival opens with the Australian premiere of 'Official Competition (Competencia oficial)', a star-studded, bitingly funny behind-the-scenes satire of filmmaking, in which a wealthy businessman hires a neurotic director to produce a brilliant art film.
