If you're in need of a few LOLs, then NZ comedy crime caper 'Lowdown Dirty Criminals' is your ticket to giggle.
Freddy (James Rolleston: 'Boy', 'The Breaker Upperers') and Marvin (Samuel Austin) have their sights set on a future filled with "monies and honeys", believing a life of crime and debauchery will get them there. The two, naïve men quickly gain work with small-time crook Spiggs. But after a number of botched jobs, Freddy and Marvin are given a fool's errand that leads them to their most intimidating enemy yet, The Upholsterer (Rebecca Gibney: 'Packed To The Rafters').
The ensuing chaos caused by her two henchmen – Semo (Robbie Magasiva: 'Wentworth') and Roy (Cohen Holloway: 'Hunt For The Wilderpeople') – on their hunt to find the boys forces Freddy and Marvin to reconsider their choice as career criminals.
